I received this treadmill on 2/25/13 and in two weeks the console started acting up. It would not respond to anything I try. So what ever speed or incline I start with I cannot change it and as I workout the incline starts going down until it reaches -3 and I cannot change it. Call customer service on 3/18/13 and was told that I needed a new console but it was out of stock. It it now 4/20/13 and it is still out of stock. I can not do the kind of training I would like with the console not responding. I put a review on proforms website but they are not showing it. Bad service. As for the treadmill itself I do find it to be well made. Now if I ever get the new console maybe I could enjoy it more.
Update.
I finally received a new concole on 4/27/13 but the part of the console that screws on the the treadmill was broken so I e-mail proform and they sent the part that was boken. I got it in five days but guess what it was broken too. Again I e-mail proform and told them the part came broken. They sent me a new one and finally this one was not broken. I put the console on and everything is working fine now. So I had to wait from 3/18 to 5/9 to finally have a working treadmill. After all of this I can say that I do find the treadmill to be easy to use and I am getting good workouts on it. Only wish it would not have taken so long to get it fixed.
Anyone that has a proform treadmill and needs service I found e-mailing them is faster than calling. I will change my rating to three stars but not because I do not like the machine but for the service being so slow to get it repaired.

Amazon is great, but sometimes you need to go and look locally before ordering.
I bought this thing based on the description and when we got it, the lift motor didn't work and frankly the display is terrible. It is so difficult to read that it's almost worthless.
I called about the lift not working and was told that I needed to open it up and troubleshoot it myself before they could do anything about it. There you go for customer service. Yeah it's borken but you figure it out for us. Well I opened it up and took a look and didn't see anything, but what was looking for. They finally mailed me new parts and got a service guy to fix it. The funny thing on getting the new parts was that the part that was in stock took a week longer to get here then the out of stock parts took.
I will never buy another product from this company. I would have sent it back to Amazon for a refund but it took forever to get it into place and I guess packing up the 300 lb monstrosity wasn't worth it.

Only had a few days,having trouble learning I fit think I could have done with out that,it's a bit frustrating, very nice tread mill for price ,large sturdy quiet,lots of features,more than I will ever need.i have recently lost a great deal of wait and wish to keep it off walking is about only thing I do and stick with .i live to far out to drive into a gym several times a week and with this in my office no matter the weather I can do my thing,I had talked to my dr. And he suggested an incline tread mill as the best. This one also has decline and works different muscles,it's more like walking outside.
